Well. It's official. My sensitive belly is back. I have been curled up in a ball 3 times in the past 3 days. Now I get to start the process of eliminating things from my diet to see if I can find the culprit. Bah! That was the one thing I thought pregnancy had cured. Oh well.

On Sunday we took the birthday girl to see the airplanes. It was a perfect day. She is growing so fast and I am so very proud of her. She is a gentle soul and I am a far better person for having her. She teaches me so much every day. Happy Belated Birthday little girl. I can't wait to see what you have in store for us next.

On friday I finished Boneshaker by Cherie Priest. I know little about the steampunk genre, but regardless I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The plot was fast paced and engaging and the characters were just plain full of awesome. I have very little time these days to do much of anything so when I do get a chance to read it has to engage me instantly and keep me wrapped up in it and this did. If you are looking for a fun adventure book, full of zombies, pirates, mad scientists and one armed barkeeps, pick it up. Pick it up Now!!!!

I swear the baby is doing this on purpose. We took at least 15 pictures throughout the day and not once did she look at the camera! It's like she knows I was trying to get a nice shot of the three of us for our holiday card. Little stinker!

Halloween weekend was fantastic. We did miss out on some family fun, but in the end all ended well. Our little girl was the cutest damn monster I ever did see (even if she would only stay in the costume for 15 minutes). And after she went to sleep, mommy and daddy hit up Spellbound. It was a good night and on Sunday I got to meet my new niece. The baby wasn't too sure about this other baby I was holding, but we got some cute pictures of them. For the record. I think I could stare at this picture all day. Seriously, the cute is over powering!

So yesterday we took the baby (with almost all of her cousins) to her first farm/pumpkin patch. There were slides, mazes, hay rides, animals and of course pumpkins. Baby seemed to enjoy herself and well we definitely had an awesome time. Next year should be even more interesting;> And that is her new dress! Isn't it awesome (more baby pictures back at flickr!)

5 years ago today, I married a man who to this day can always make me smile, no matter what life throws our way. Happy Anniversary to the love of my life, my friend, my husband, the father of my daughter.

So one of the blogs I read put out a Situp/Pushup/Squat challenge for September. And well I figured, what the hell. So I did the tests tonight and here is my starting point

Situps (88) Excellent
Squats (116) Excellent
And we're off! Wish me luck! My legs are currently a tad shaky....
